We woke up even earlier than expected. Mum bi got a hot shower. I got the beginnings of one but just as I was about to shampoo my hair the water stopped. Good timing I suppose...but still no shower. We had a nice breakfast of tea, eggs, bread, bruit and little delicious biscuit things. We then go our things together and walked to KVDA. This time with my big blue bag for them to store. They were not in yet when we arrived so I went to the internet cafe and wrote a VERY LONG email to Mom and Dad explaining the events of the past week. I also included a list of supplies to send me for the school. By the time I was through everyone was in the office. I saw Togo today, we talked ambit and I told him things were very good and I liked the family I'm living with. He seemed rather concerned but everything is fine. He also gave me two letters to deliver to the chairlady of the women's group at Karago. He introduced me to Motiso...an asian volunteer who will be working at Karago Primary school as well. It will be nice to have someone else there since the twins are leaving. Maybe he will even stay until October. Then we left and met Brian and Mrs. Njiru several blocks away. There we split up and I went with Mrs. Njiru to the area of her son's university. She had already registered him for classes but she needed to find a place for him to stay. We went to the youth hostel but the manager was at lunch. We sat at a nearby cafe and had some sodas while waiting his return. A bit awkward, I'm not sure she likes me too much. She's very quiet. We went back to the hostel and the man was there. We looked at the rooms and she made her son's reservations. I think it was 5,000 ksh for 4months. That's about 80 American dollars.
